Fantastic world-class gold thumbnail specimen consisting of numerous hoppered cubes (largest is .9 cm!) and very well-defined skeletal ribs. You simply will not find many Gold thumbs the equal of this from anywhere. A killer for Nevada, in particular! This is a thick, hefty piece with a LOT of impact. It is somewhat brighter in person. I consider this a major gold thumbnail and a significant Nevada gold. I bought this entire lot to get this one piece, to be blunt, It is THAT extraordinary. This was one of the two outstanding specimens in the lot, which the collector had obtained by prospecting almost every year for the last 30 years!
