A fine aesthetic and well-balanced olmiite specimen! A compound, aerial cluster of brilliant, sparkling, highly lustrous clusters of olmiite to almost 2 cm arranged very three dimensionally. The piece is composed of glassy, gemmy to translucent balls of olmiite that richly cover the sculptural matrix on this piece from the 2008 find at the N'Chwaning II Mine of South Africa. This is an excellent matrix example that glows in good lighting and displays good contrast with the associated calcite at the base. It comes with a custom engraved acrylic base that displays the piece well.
