Virgem de Lapa has produced tourmaline on and off for 50 years, but this was a highly unusual pocket found in about 2010, with rich tones of rich evergreen. Colorful, glassy and translucent, this is a significant specimen from that find. It has one repair in the middle. The large crystal measures 14 cm in length and has a sidecar at its base along with a few pink lepidolite crystals attached. The elbaite terminations are particularly fine. The mass is 90 grams. Comes with custom lucite base.
