A brecciated matrix hosts a thin coating of botryoidal, lustrous, rich pink rhodochrosite. The botryoids average 5 to 7 mm across. I particularly like the sculptural quality of the specimen when held upright - most Broken Hill rhodochrosites are simply ugly, but this one sparkles, and has interesting shape and color.
