Beautiful pair of parallel, intergrown Azurite crystals from the great Tsumeb Mine. The luster, deep blue color, and form of the crystals are all excellent. There qualities are exactly what you look for in a good Azurite. There are just a few small dings on one edge, otherwise the condition is very good. The small amount of Malachite near the base adds interest and color to the fine aesthetics of this classic miniature. Even with a flood of Azurite out of Milpillas in recent years, this shape and style remains unique to Tsumeb!
