Superb, single, prismatic crystal of Hematite with both skeletal and hoppered features that beautifully show the growth stages of the crystal. The luster is fabulous, as are the terminations and form. In fact, the Hematite is so fine that it sounds like metallic crystal when you ping it against something, although I would not recommend making a habit of that! A terrific and aesthetic toenail. These are fascinating crystals of volcanic origin, and rare in such quality and luster.
