This is an outstanding, 360-degree specimen of the well-known jackstraw Cerussites from the Flux Mine in Arizona. The Cerussite crystals have an excellent, pearlescent luster, and some actually exceed 3 cm in length, which is impressive. Save for the contact on the bottom, the gossan matrix is completely covered by hundreds of Cerussites. Excellent, old-time material, Flux Mine Cerussites are a highly desirable Arizona classic from the mid 1900s. Dramatic, large matrix specimens of this richness and quality are rarely available, and this is certainly one of the finest and richest I have seen in a long time.
