TANZFL-15
Fluorite
Quan Zhou city, Yong Chun County, Fujian Province, China
Miniature, 4.4 x 3.5 x 2.8 cm
SOLD
This fine miniature shows off sharp modified crystals from the new pocket of 2017 of "tanzanite fluorites," on an aesthetic specimen. (Note the name is to denote the coloring of the fluorite and not an actual combination of the two species here.) The crystals, to 1.5 cm, are sharp and juicy in color. The piece is very dramatic and 3-dimensional in person, and really just "pops" in shape and form. In these photos in normal desktop photography light, it is a litle dark, due to that the crystals sit on matrix which does not transmit light, but the crystals certainly glow nicely when strongly lit.
