Kulanite is a rare, hydroxyl, barium, iron, aluminum phosphate that has its type locality at Rapid Creek. Three, highly lustrous indigo blue crystals of kulanite to 1.2 cm in length, are aesthetically perched on a drusy, translucent, sky blue matrix of lazulite. Superb thumbnail example of a very rare species. Ex Rod Tyson collection
