Very nicely balanced specimen, with a beautiful 2.1 cm, teal-blue ball of Cavansite on just the right amount of matrix. The luster is excellent, and you can see the blade tips sparkle as the piece is rotated under the light. This is very RARE to obtain, with the isolated, larger cavansite crystals sticking out from the more traditional ball format. Most often, cavansite forms spherical aggregates, rather than showing off the stereotypical crystal form as we have here. One of the advantages of seeing the blades so distinctly is the owner is afforded a sharp view of the superb, almost metallic, luster along the blades. There is even a tiny white Stilbite on one side of the ball to add a little contrast. An excellent display specimen without breaking the bank, well-balanced on contrasting matrix!
