Classic combination specimen from the famous Pingwu locality in China. This combo features a gemmy and glassy Aquamarine in the classic tabular habit. This light blue crystal is 3.6 cm across and almost 1.6 cm thick, with excellent luster. Associated is a cluster of sharp and very lustrous Cassiterite crystals that reach up to about 1.3 cm in length. The matrix is a solid bed of small Beryl crystals, and this are underlain by a sparkly layer of Muscovite. This is an aesthetic, well-balanced specimen from a famous locality. Cassiterite ON aquamarine is quite rare, for here, and does not even occur at any other locality of which I am aware.
