- Corundum var. Ruby (fluorescent)
- Miniature, 3.6 x 3.2 x 2.8 cm
- Jegdalek ruby deposit, Surobi District, Kabol Province, Afghanistan
- Ex. Herb Obodda
Placed perfectly on a white marble matrix is an attractive set of lustrous and translucent, highly modified Ruby crystals. The largest is 7 mm red across, and the Rubies balance and complement each other nicely. This is an engaging specimen with good color and a strong display impact. Though small, it is very sharp! The fluorescence of the Ruby is outstanding.
