In the late 1940s, George Ashley discovered a large cache of kunzite at the Vanderberg mine. I believe that this doubly terminated, lustrous and gemmy, rich pink crystal is from that time. It then ended up in a collection in Hawaii, and comes with a museum display label. A beautifully 3-dimensional, hot pink example of San Diego county kunzite from an unusual find! Ex. Lyman House Museum in Hilo, Hawaii. 92 grams.
