Miniature, 5.4 x 2.7 x 1.3 cm
Touissit Mine, Ouijda, Morocco
This anglesite specimen is transparent, lustrous, pastel yellow; and is highlighted, at least in my mind, by a sidecar anglesite crystal jutting out from the main crystal. There are minor abrasions and wilbers which should be expected on such a soft mineral but overall it is in fine shape. This would date from the famous finds of the late 1970s...none have been found since of comparable quality, to be sure. It is a really pretty gem crystal!.
