Miniature, 5.2 x 4.5 x 4.0 cm
Sub-Rosiclare Level, Denton Mine, Harris Creek District, Illinois, USA
Ex. Ross Lillie
Outstanding, amber colored Fluorite crystals from the Denton Mine of southern Illinois. These crystals are completely gemmy, and the color is to die for. There are even subtle phantoms within, but it's the color that really hits home. You rarely see this shade, and so completely glassy, as well. The largest Fluorite is 3.4 cm, and the crystals are sharp with only a minor amount of edge wear. With the interpenetration, I would almost think these were English. Even better in person. Mined in 1988. RCL1082
