When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the modern age of mineral collecting. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially in the Shigar Valley. This cluster features an attractive, very gemmy, light blue Aqua crystal with super luster attached to five other Aquas. The main Aquas are 4 cm long. There are a few nicks around the termination of the main crystal, but overall, a very good miniature for this material - particularly if you want something of quality and aesthetics without "breaking the bank." This is small, but high in quality as the tradeoff. For a miniatures collection, in particular, it would be more stylish than most aquas in this price range, I believe.
