A classic, old-time specimen of Fluorite from the Freiberg mining district in Germany, this small cabinet specimen features a half-dozen large (up to 2.2 cm) Fluorites on a dense bed of smaller, light green Fluorites. The larger crystals are mostly gemmy, with good luster and a tabular habit. They grade from lavender to colorless to a light green that mimics the matrix Fluorites. The crystals are in remarkably good condition with only two showing any amount of contacting. Excellent fluorescence. Better in person, the aesthetics are quite good for this hard to come by German Fluorite.
