Lustrous, dendritic aggregates of flattened, silver-gray sylvanite crystals richly cover the dense matrix coated with contrasting drusy calcite matrix. Prismatic crystals range up to 5mm. From the type locality at the famed gold-silver deposit at Baia de Aries (Offenbanya), Romania. This rare silver and gold telluride was discovered here in 1835.
