These crystals are unusually robust and rich. An uncommon calcium, cobalt, magnesium, arsenate, this locality produced the best in the world in spurts over the last decade. The crystals on this specimen totally cover their matrix to make a beautiful display specimen. The crystals, to 5 mm across, are lustrous and translucent and exhibit an unusually very deep magenta color. For richness and coverage, and the awesome color here, this is one of the better examples in its size range I have seen.
