The fluorite crystals in this cluster all exhibit an opaque, dark purple initiation phase that is overtopped by a beautiful, glassy and gemmy, colorless, secondary overgrowth. The largest crystal measures 3.1 cm across. Ex. Ross Lillie collection 0528. This is a very unique and complex specimen with great eye appeal. It is glassy and bright, and complete all around. It is VERY hard to decide which photo or angle to make the front, to be honest. Out of all the fluorites we see, this one just is so wildly different, that to me it stands out even amongst much more colorful brethren here.
