Yangshuo Mine, Yangshuo Co., Guilin Pref., Guangxi Zhuang, China
Cabinet, 9.7 x 7.9 x 4.2 cm
The consistent and evenly saturated color makes the piece special, for its size, and it has a high luster as well. This is a fine plate with great horizons to the edges, 3-dimensional hillocks on the display face, and a riveting color. It is pristine except only for the most very trivial of rubs (not even a ding, I would call them). Few reached this quality and size, after removing layers of mineral oil smeared on them in China to hide the dings.
