This monster is a classical blue topaz, with excellent color, gemminess, and luster. It has FLAT FACES WITH NO ETCHING, something that is EXCEEDINGLY uncommon for the locality in a crystal of this size! The aesthetics are good, because of the facinating multistep termination which gives it some visual change atop. Each side is beautifully bevelled with angled faces that are sharp and lustrous, and set off the starkly basal top face. It is totally undamaged except at the bottom and a slight upcurve of contact to the bottom-left side. Just beautiful! From the old finds, such a piece would easily cost over 10k.
