Fluorite, Galena
Small Cabinet, 7.2 x 4.7 x 2.6 cm
Rosiclare Level, Minerva Mine #1, Cave-in-Rock District, Illinois, USA
Ex. Ross Lillie

An unusual specimen with CLEAR, colorless fluorite - actually quite rare from this district. Partially corroded galena crystals are the host for a cluster of lustrous and translucent, colorless fluorite crystals, to 1.7 cm across. The fluorite crystals glow a light purple under fluorescent light.
