This is a massive, heavy anglesite crystal with incredible, deep, saturated color! It is robust and gorgeous in a case. When lit, it looks like glass, with a special glassy luster and internal sparkle to it. The crystal is complete save for a tiny ding at the tip and contact on the left side (this needs to be mentioned, but neither is visible from the display face as you can see). The contact on the right is where it was attached to a rocky wall of the pocket and is out of sight from the display face as shown. This is one of the thickest single crystals of Morocco anglesite I have seen, and is 132 grams - very robust! Wally works with me here in my Dallas office now, in his retirement. He was the one who was more shocked than I to see his old anglesite from his first collection turn up with me in a lot deal a few months ago. He first purchased this piece in the 1990s and traded it at some point before the year 2000 as he moved to a preference in matrix specimens. Joe Budd photos.
