Engaging and architectural, this dramatic Fluorite specimen has two generations of growth, accented by Calcite crystals. The Fluorite is quite gemmy, and the light blue followed by the stepped, purple generation is extremely attractive. There are numerous Calcite crystals that range up to 5 mm, and they preferentially rim only one set of the purple faces on the backside. The aesthetics of this specimen are just some of the most unusual we have seen for fluorite, and there is great beauty in its seeming simplicity and the contrasts within it. Mined 1991. Unique!
