A classic, rarely seen in a good thumbnail specimen! This barrel-shaped crystal, with overtones of the famous wheatsheaf habit, probably came out among the famous finds of the late 1970's and then never seen again. This translucent, 1.3 cm Rhodo has excellent luster and good color. Not only does the Rhodo sparkle, but the dozens of tiny Manganite crystals that populate the Rhodo like metallic snow sparkle equally well. The Manganite matrix complements the Rhodo very nicely. An excellent, aesthetic thumbnail. Even better in person.
