Here is a captivating cluster of three classically colored, reddish-orange Wulfenite crystals, perched on a small amount of Endlichite upon Calcite matrix, from the famous Los Lamentos. The main crystal is a substantial 1.6 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm, with two small intergrown Wulfenites, one on each smooth termination. It looks like a caramel sitting atop a mount! Each of these crystals has superb luster, with textured, almost watery, sides. The habit is the classic 'sandwich' habit (lighter terminations), and great, eye-catching color. The aesthetics are top-notch and this is ne of the best thumbnail specimens of the style I have seen. It is probably of 1960s vintage.
