Valentinite on Galena
Small Cabinet, 6.4 x 5.5 x 3.8 cm
Pribram, Bohemia, Czech Republic
Ex. Herb Obodda
The Valentinite, an Antimony oxide, occurs in fine, lustrous blades up to about 1 cm. This habit is highly representative of Valentinite from the famous mining district of Pribram. The blades, which are quite distinct, rest on a matrix of intergrown Galena crystals. A very good small cabinet specimen.
