This is a stunning, iridescent specimen of a very rare mineral species. This is truly the only locality where it is found and still maintains interesting beauty. Clearly an old specimen, it has a mid-1900s Schortman's label in association as well. This is a rare iron, antimony, sulfosalt. This matrix specimen features acicular, iridescent crystals, to 3.5 cm in length, that are bundled closely together on a tiny pedestal of matrix. Overall, this is eye candy at its most vivid! It is THAT colorful! It could easily fit into a comprehensive worldwide miniatures suite of top caliber. Ex Howard Belksy Collection.
