A very OLD specimen from this famous, now long-defunct, US mining district - the label is from the Bally Museum in Switzerland (now, also defunct). This was in Europe by the mid-1900s and in any case is representative of the very old material from here that would have come out circa 1910, according to the curator at NM Tech. The piece is a very attractive, sculptural specimen on its own merits, as well. It is not pristine, but has only very little edge wear, acceptable given the age of the piece. Rare and classic!
