Fluorite & Smoky Quartz
Teller County, Colorado, USA
Small Cabinet, 6.1 x 4.4 x 3.7 cm
SOLD
A nice locality specimen with balance: A mostly opaque octahedron of dark pink fluorite, to 4 cm in length, has a secondary growth of lustrous and translucent dark purplish fluorite atop. Perched aesthetically on the secondary fluorite growth is a 2.5 cm long, dark brownish-black, smoky quartz crystal. Classic Colorado combo...but in a very balanced form. Collected by Adam Sotomayor in 2011.
