Dozens upon dozens of sharp, lustrous Stolzite crystals populate the Quartz and matrix of this specimen. The tabular crystals, which average a few mm in size, have a habit identical to Wulfenite, which is not a surprise since they are end members of the same series. The gemmy to translucent Stolzites have excellent luster and sharp, beveled edges. There are several areas on this specimen that have large numbers of crystals, so there is actually a choice of viewing angles. Either way, the quality of the Stolzites is excellent, as is the specimen overall.
