This is an amazing crystal of lustrous, literally translucent and partly transparent, wine-red rutile. When seen in person, it becomes evident that this spear is terminated atop and crudely on the bottom as well, thus making it a true floater. Definitely one of the gemmiest, rutile specimens I have seen. The luster is incredible and the piece, again, glows when backlit. One of the larger crystals I have seen from this location, as well
