A truly fantastic LARGE specimen of elbaite, and associations, which is very uncommon for this locale! The color of the crystals is a hot magenta red color; and it is interesting because of its parallel-growth crystals, all terminated. A sharp quartz crystal sits at the base, for the important touch. An extraordinary example of the species, from a difficult to acquire locality, this is classic old "siberite," as it was once called by European royalty who collected minerals. The piece was found in the late 1990s. 850 grams
