This is perhaps the single most glassy and lustrous tourmaline in this update. It has a freaky surface luster to it, combined with internal brightness and an obvious clarity and transparency. Specimens like this are few and far between. Old material, said to have been collected prior to the 1970s. The luster, the brightness, the gemminess... all I can do is add more superlatives.
