A MAJOR example of the species featuring a 3-dimensional, cannon-shaped cluster of parallel-growth hibonite crystals sitting atop a well trimmed matrix (it sits upright on its own merits). The cluster measures just under 6 cm long, and is COMPLETE. Many large hibonites are not complete, but rather broken or contacted. This cluster shows slight bits of matrix at both ends, proving the natural terminations remain. From a more modern, but still scarce, location in the same deposit as that of the type material.
