The fat, sharp crystals are relatively large, to 1.2 cm, and very 3-dimensional. Color is intense, at top of scale for the species. The piece is complete on both sides, a superb display quality miniature. It is just bright and showy, much more so than you can expect from the photos and from "normal quality" examples of this rare phosphate even from this prolific locale. Al self-collected this specimen and I bought it from him directly, several years before he passed away. Dating to the 1980s, it has been a long time since material of such quality was found here.
