ALBVT-01
Albite
Enosburg Falls Stone Quarry, Enosburgh, Franklin County, Vermont
Miniature, 4.6 x 2.9 x 1.8 cm
SOLD
At one end is a 3.5 cm-long albite crystal totally invested by silvery chlorite of some sort, and shimmers. At the other end is a 1.25-cm-long, gemmy and glassy, doubly-terminated, colorless crystal of gem albite of the highest brilliant clarity characteristic of the find. Small but elegant, it hangs on the edge of this interesting miniature. This fascinating specimen can be viewed up or down. The flip side shows off the unusually elongated (though chlorite-infused) larger crystal.
