Small Cabinet, 8.9 x 6.8 x 3.9 cm
SOLD
A striking specimen with lustrous, pseudocubic, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals scattered on a very sturdy, 3-dimensional gossan matrix and beautifully complimented by botryoidal green mimetite from a new find at the Mina Ojuela at Mapimi, Mexico. The largest wulfenite crystals (2) are 8 mm and they are doubly terminated. This fine piece has very few broken crystals and there even little, white calcite rhombs as a very nice accent. This is a new find, from just before the 2008 Denver Show. The exact mine location is Level 6, San Juan Poniente vein.
