A BEAUTIFUL and UNUSUAL, gemmy and lustrous Himalaya Mine tourmaline. This very showy piece is two-toned, watermelon-pink with a 3 mm thick, gemmy, green zone below the pink termination. There are a few glassy, purple lepidolite crystals scattered about, mostly on one side. The UNUSUAL notched termination has ANOTHER tourmaline crystal lying horizontally at its base! A single cleavelandite crystal is also found there. This gorgeous crystal is pristine, except for the broken ends of the horizontal tourmaline crystal lying in the notch.
