An uncommon and fine Sulfur and sugary dolomite specimen from an oil well drill core from near Ft. Stockton, Pecos Co., Texas. This is a 11.8 cm or 4.75 inches in diameter rotary drill core, drilled by an oil company. This is a large diameter core. This core fragment recovered a well-developed vug sprinkled with euhedral, gemmy and lustrous Sulfur crystals on a sugary, brown dolomite matrix. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
