I cannot say enough about how impressive this huge gem crystal of kunzite is. It is actually far more impressive in person! This crystal actually weighs 1365 grams, or OVER 3 POUNDS, and most of it is GEM material! The specimen actually consists of two intergrown crystals, both terminated. But one of the two is supremely good, and constitutes the display side of the specimen. This crystal is as clear and gemmy as could be, all the way through, and over an inch thick (with the intergrown crystal added, you're talking TWO INCHES thick so there is lots of gem rough material here). It is a fine deep pink grading to a very light green towards the bottom. The termination is sharp and PERFECT, and you can look into it (through the C axis) and see all the way through the five inches of kunzite from top to bottom! 15.6 x 10.5 x 5.5cm
