Everybody WANTS a purple apatite from here, but the really purple ones are so uncommon that most folks only see the "lavender" hue and not the real purply pieces, such as this one! It is a glassy, intensely colorful cluster, and is a complete FLOATER with no attachment point on the apatites. The minor association of sparkly muscovite provides a nice contrasting accent. Small miniature, but of such a quality as to be extremely hard to find, and with the color it displays with impact greater than its size might indicate....
