Not only hard to find, but really quite BEAUTIFUL, an old specimen of shattuckite from Ajo that came out of the Smithsonian, and still has the old label with it (we will include it with the specimen). The specimen is polished to show off its superb color. Shattuckite is a relatively rare copper silicate, which is why you do not see specimens like this around. It is here associated with malachite and other copper minerals. This specimen passed from the Smithsonian into the Dr. Gary Hansen Collection quite awhile back, and thence to us when I bought that collection last summer. I am sure this is more than 50 years old. 5.3 x 5.1 x 5.0cm
