A lustrous, very sharp, 1.1 cm, scorodite crystal proudly projects upward from matrix on this specimen from a BRAND NEW find in China! This dark purple/indigo-blue beauty has elongated orthorhombic form and jauntily set on matrix with smaller scorodite crystals. This is the FIRST new worldwide find of scorodites in many years! This is a major discovery and while not gemmy, they are certainly significant for size and form.
