The arsenate roselite is a very close cousin of wendwilsonite (named after Min Rec editor Wendell Wilson), and in fact they are indistinguishable without testing. This is a rich pocket of the best deep magenta, sparkly as can be. Rosalite specimens can be rather boring form-wise, but this one is quite sculptural, with the matrixy bottom part serving as a base for the pocket itself. Darnit, matrixy should be a real word. It is so descriptive?! 5.5 x 5 x 4.5 cm
