A DRAMATIC and SIGNIFICANT, two-sided, LARGE CABINET specimen from the famous Grizzly Bear Mine, near Ouray, Colorado. This HISTORIC, OLD-TIMER has 11, frosted, light pink rhodochrosite rhombs to 4.1 cm, nicely scattered on a partially hollow, two-sided crust of needle quartz crystals. The backside has 3 rhodo crystals. AMAZINGLY, this huge piece is essentially pristine, except along the contacted periphery!
