A striking, translucent, cherry-red rhodochrosite crystal cluster from recent Chinese finds. The large crystal in the front with the fluorite crystal at one end and prominent, stepped-growth faces is 5.0 cm. A sparkly field of small pyrite crystals on the back is a nice accent. Many faces are crystallized and some faces are contacted. This remains an impressive, larger example from this locale.
