Gemmy, transparent, sharp orange-yellow crystals of raspite to 4 mm on matrix. Superb reference specimen of this very rare species, from the best and type locality for the species - the old BHP mine, or Broken Hill Proprietary Mine, at Broken Hill. Turn of the century to early-1900s material.
