It is very difficult to find a good New Mexico smoky anymore. This piece has EveryTHING: Let's start with gemminess: these crystals are the equal of a good Swiss specimen, no question about it. Then there is form - it would be hard to find a more elegant one that this, with one crystal leaning against another, both slender and fine. Their faces have subtle striations. As far as condition goes, you can see a micro ding at the very tip of the larger crystal if you look through a loupe and one tiny pit in one place on the side - but these are hardly detractions worth mentioning.
